Any idea how much a pawn shop would give me my diamond jewelry set?
I need money fast, but I do not want to sell my jewelry I just want to pawn temporarily. I’ll have the money in a couple of months, easy, I just need it now. I have a set consisting of earrings, white gold jewelry and yellow necklace, completely covered in small diamonds. It is less than a year old, in perfect condition. I know that the set was about $ 1200 on sale when bought, and probably worth closer to $ 1600 or so. Do you think a pawn shop would give me $ 500-600 for it? More? Less?
Considerably less than what you think – which sold a ring worth about that and have less than $ 100.
